Thank you for reaching out about Edenton Street UMC's Doorstep Ministry.  Our Doorstep Ministry helps Wake County residents who have hit a bump in the road and need financial assistance with rent and utilities.

In order to receive assistance, you must be a Wake County resident with some form of income (job, disability, social security, etc.)

We partner with First Presbyterian's Friendship Fund, matching gifts and jointly conducting interviews to lessen the burden on those who need assistance to stay in their homes, keep their electricity on, or water running.

To receive help, please call 919-832-9530 (Edenton Street UMC) on Monday at 3:00 pm or 919-833-4070 (First Presbyterian) on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 am to schedule an appointment.  We receive many calls for assistance, so if you get a busy signal please keep trying.  Calls will be taken until all appointments for the week are full.
