LOADS OF LOVE: EXTENDING CHRIST’S LOVE, ONE QUARTER AT A TIME
The Wash House Laundromat
2553 S. Saunders Street, Raleigh, NC 27603
On any Tuesday evening, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., and you’ll find folks from Edenton Street at the Wash House Laundromat welcoming you, and offering to pay for a load of your laundry. Who are they? Part of our Loads of Love laundry team, which will celebrate its fifth anniversary this summer. What started out as an outreach to neighbors experiencing homelessness has blossomed into a ministry rich with wonderful relationships and surprising evangelism moments. We are not there to judge, save or make better. Rather, to meet a tangible need, build relationships, and when asked, share our faith.
