Edenton Street United Methodist Church is expanding its Ministry Through Music Program in order to enrich the Musical Life of our congregation. This art form is becoming an integral part of our Worship, Education, Outreach, and Pastoral Ministry. With three choirs for children, two youth choirs, three handbell choirs, the Chancel Choir, Senior Adult Choir, Dance Ensemble. Instrumental Music, The Gathering Praise Team, Drama, we have a program that offers each child, youth or adult the opportunity to develop the “Whole” person.
What is so beautiful is that no matter the musical level of a child, youth or adult, there is a place to begin within this program. We now offer beginning classes for Handbells and Singing Choir titled Handbells 101 and Sing For Joy: Choir Singing 101. Whether it is learning the music by rote or singing a great oratorio with orchestra, it’s here in your church waiting to be utilized.

Like the ancient concept of the cathedral and connecting school, Edenton Street is here to lead its people in developing their whole being to the love and service of God through Jesus Christ and His children, and to develop in each individual a love for the beauty that is in and around us.
