2010 Events
Beginning the new year we are reminded of the transitions our lives take. Each day is an opportunity to walk with Christ and enhance our spiritual journey. Adult Ministries offer ministries and programs that are inviting, preparing, caring, and sending others. The goal of Adult Ministry is to offer a variety of venues to engage adults in the latter stages of their lives in worship, prayer, service, gifts and witness.
Sarah Crosby wrote in 1774 to Betsy Hurrell, to an aspiring woman preacher:
“But He now forbids me to hide the light He gives under a bushel. And the more simply I witness for God, the more does He witness in my heart.” (Letters, pp. 69-71) May we all be His servants in action taking the experience of God’s grace to offer God’s love in Christ to others.

Worship
Homebound Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month. Members of the congregation worship together at the 8:40 AM Communion Service and take the consecrated elements to the homebound for worship and the celebration of communion. Communion servants develop a relationship with the folks they come to know through visitation and worship. This is an ongoing ministry and anyone who would like to join in this ministry is welcome at anytime, please email Susan McGuire.
Live video web streaming is available for our 8:40 and 10:55 Sunday Worship services. You may access the worship services by clicking here. Should you have the gift of technological knowledge and want to help our homebound with learning to access the internet please email Susan McGuire.
Hearing enhancement devices are available for worship services in the Sanctuary and Kerr Hall. Also available are large print hymns and bulletins for worship services. Ushers will direct you to the print materials and devises in the Narthex.
