Edenton Street is a growing church -
Growing in heart
in spirit
and in love
for God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
With this love we reach out to people in the Triangle area and beyond,
sharing Christ from the heart of Raleigh
on our campus,
through radio ministry,
televised worship services,
and personal relationships.
Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,
Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you;
And lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Evangelism means sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All areas of the church are involved in evangelism, growing in the ability to share the Christian faith. As we respond to God's call to share the gospel, we aim for everything we do to glorify God through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
How do we grow?
People here make a habit of attending worship every Sunday, of including Bible study in their daily routine and weekly meetings, and of serving one another in thought, word, and deed.
We are called to worship and glorify God. That calling is inclusive, which means that all persons are welcome here. Diversity is not only accepted but celebrated, for God first meets us in the particularity of our own situation, but then draws us to the kingdom of His Christ in which there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for all are one in Christ Jesus. (Galations 3:28)
Come taste the goodness of God as it comes through the life of Christ at Edenton Street and the ministries of its people. To God be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
“Taste and see that the Lord is good.” (Psalm 34:8)
“It is He that hath made us and not we ourselves.” (Psalm 100:3)
