Vacation Bible School is a tradition at Edenton Street United Methodist Church. Sessions are held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 pm for 3 year olds through 4th grade. With the help of adult and youth leaders, children learn the meaning of scripture through activities such as music, crafts, games, drama and, storytelling. This is an exciting time and an excellent way to help build a child ’s foundation of faith.

This year’s VBS will take place from July 7 to July 11.

Beach Party VBS takes your kids on an exciting journey to the ocean where they will learn the basics of surfing, ride the wave of God’s love, and go home with a new Beach-Be Attitude. Having a Beach Be-Attitude means being obedient, kind, forgiving, bold, and believing.  VBS takes place on July 7 – 11, from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm. Children ages three (having turned three by October 16, 2007) through fourth grade are invited to participate.

We need MANY volunteers to make VBS successful. Come along and discover the fun of serving as a volunteer during VBS week! It’s a great way to get to know others in our church family.

Please consider volunteering to be a teacher/guide or to help in one of the activity centers. Childcare is available for those 2 and younger on the days you volunteer. Please be sure to indicate your need for this service on the registration form at the link below. To volunteer, please indicate your first, second and third choice of work areas and the days you are available. We will do our best to accommodate you.
