The Early Childhood Program at Edenton Street United Methodist Church is an outreach ministry, which is designed to meet the needs of parents and their young children, ages 2 months to 5 years. Our loving staff is here to provide guidance, which will enhance physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual growth in a safe environment. This program runs from September to May, and typically follows the Wake Co. Public School System Traditional Calendar.
The ECP hours are 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and care is offered on 3 different schedules. All ages infant - age 3 may enroll for classes on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule; a Tuesday, Thursday schedule or a Monday - Friday schedule. The schedule for our 4's (Pre-K) is Monday - Friday.
We pride oursleves in being a social and emotional based preschool. We feel very strongly that these skills not only prepare the children for Kindergarten but for life in general as well. We do discuss academics every day however it is always in a very relaxed atmosphere where the children feel safe and loved. A true "love for coming to school" is our first and foremost goal.

2010-2011 Registration Information and Applications:
The program is currently accepting registrations for the 2010-2011 school year. A priority system is offered as well as random selection among priorities when spaces are limited. However, all forms need to be turned in by February 5th in order to have your application considered in the random selection process. More information is available in the links above.
