At Edenton Street UMC we SHARE CHRIST FROM THE HEART OF RALEIGH by ministering to the needs of the children through nurturing, loving, offering opportunities for play and learning, and through guidance for spiritual growth. We believe that the Christian nurture of our children is a joint responsibility of the church-at-large and individual families. Having your child baptized as an infant as well as getting him or her involved in the children’s programs begins this nurturing process. We recognize that children (infants through fifth grade) have needs and capabilities that vary by age. We are committed at ESUMC to plan programs that are appropriate to the physical, social, and spiritual growth of each age group. We hope that as a family you will become involved in these and the many other ministries of the church.
